The renter must hold a valid driving license recognized in the UAE.
Tourists must present a valid passport, visa, and International Driving Permit if required.
The minimum driver age is 21 years old. Some vehicle categories may require the driver to be 25 years or older.
All vehicles are insured according to UAE laws.
Basic insurance is included in the rental price.
The renter is responsible for any excess amount in case of an accident if the terms of the insurance policy are violated.
A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the vehicle category.
The deposit covers traffic fines, Salik tolls, parking fees, damages, or any additional charges.
Refunds are processed after all outstanding charges are cleared.
Rental charges are calculated on a 24-hour basis starting from the pickup time.
Late returns may result in additional charges.
Mileage limitations may apply depending on the selected vehicle and rental package.
The renter must comply with all UAE traffic laws and regulations.
The vehicle must not be driven under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The renter is responsible for maintaining the vehicle in good condition throughout the rental period
6. Accidents & Damage
In the event of an accident, the renter must immediately inform the police and Alkawas Car Rental.
A police report is mandatory for any insurance claim.
Failure to provide a police report may result in full liability for damages.
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as received.
The renter is responsible for all Salik toll charges, parking fees, and traffic fines incurred during the rental period.
Alkawas Car Rental is not responsible for any personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
Please ensure all personal items are removed before returning the vehicle.
The vehicle may not be used:
- By unauthorized drivers.
- For illegal activities.
- For racing, drifting, or off-road driving.
- For sub-rental or commercial purposes without written permission.
- Outside the UAE without prior written approval.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes arising from the rental agreement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of UAE courts.
